RACES Leadership Meeting

The RACES management staff meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 5:30 - 6:30 pm at the Office of Emergency Services Emergency Operations Center, 50 Glacier Dr, Martinez, CA.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide a forum where the RACES Radio Officers can discuss and plan RACES activities. All RACES members are welcome to attend this meeting.

Amateur Radio Emergency Communication Collaborative Network (ARECCN) Meeting

With over 25 amateur radio emergency communications groups in Contra Costa County capable of providing emergency communications, conflict is imminent. In an effort to coordinate the use of limited RF spectrum and to hear the concerns of all emergency communications groups in the county, Contra Costa RACES is hosting meetings for the ARECCN.

Members of all amateur radio emergency communications groups in Contra Costa County are invited to join. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at the Contra Costa County Emergency Operations Center, 50 Glacier Drive, Martinez, CA.

RACES General Membership Meeting

The RACES general membership meeting is held on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 7:30 - 9:00 pm and is open to everyone.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide information pertaining to the RACES membership. Additionally, the meeting provides a forum to discuss items of interest and to present brief training items.

Training & Events

The purpose of these sessions is to improve our skills, so we are prepared when our skills are required.  Everyone is welcome to attend these scheduled events.

Local Emergency Communications Nets

Practice your communication skills and test your radios often by participating in Nets. Or, take your skills to a new level and participate as Net Control. Contact the leadership of your EmComm group if you are interested in running a net.
